SWQ Touch is now calling for applications for coaches and managers so those who are interested in applying for a position are to complete and return the form listed below by Friday, 23/09/16. The appointment details will then be posted on this website the following week.
Please note that SWQ Touch is running a Talent Coach Course in Toowoomba on Sunday, 13/11/16. Information about costs, how to register, etc, can be found in the attachment below:
SWQ Player Registration Process
Players wishing to be considered for selection are to register their interest via email to [email protected] by Friday, 23/09/16. When registering, please include the following information:

The divisions on offer at the 2017 NTL are as follows:
The registrations received as at the close of business on 23/09/16 will determine which divisions proceed to the muster being held in Toowoomba on Sunday, 23/10/16, starting at 10am.
NB. Players who register for a division that does not proceed will have the opportunity to nominate for the Player Pool. Players who haven’t registered for selection WILL NOT be granted a release if they nominate for the Player Pool.

SWQ Touch members are requested to take note of the following selection policy in place for our open & senior representative teams in 2015:
The SWQ Open Mixed team for this year’s NTL will be finalised at the training run that is being held at Kearney’s Spring (Toowoomba) this Sunday (18th) – commencing at 10am sharp.
NB. A decision on whether this team will be nominated for the NTL will be made after this training run – based on the numbers in attendance. If it proceeds, the team details will be posted on this website next Monday (19th).
The Local Sporting Champions Program is an Australian Government initiative designed to provide financial assistance for young people (aged 12-18 years) towards the cost of travel, accommodation, uniforms or equipment when competing, coaching or officiating at an official national sporting organisation (NSO) endorsed state, national or international sporting championships or a School Sport Australia state or national championships. NB. Applications can only be made by individuals – not teams.
